Silicone structural sealant|What is the difference between the three glass glues: silicone structural glue, weatherproof glue and sealant?
Structural adhesives are generally used in full/half glass curtain walls or places with extremely high requirements for adhesion. The vast majority of civil engineering or advertising decorations use weather-resistant adhesives or sealants. Structural adhesive requires national certification.
Weather resistant glue is graded, with grades 20, 25, 35, and 50. According to the thermal expansion coefficient of the material, select the weather resistant adhesive with the corresponding displacement modulus, and the budget is sufficient, and the level is as high as possible. It is mainly used in curtain walls, broken bridge doors and windows, aluminum doors and windows, sunshine rooms, color steel tiles and other places to achieve air tightness and water tightness.
The sealant is suitable for interior decoration, skirting, and closing of various gaps. If possible, use weather-resistant glue as much as possible.
